Service Learning and Leadership

An initiative empowering high school students to develop leadership skills, engage in meaningful community service, and create lasting, positive change within their school. Some of the activities that the teens regularly enjoy including partnering with local community organizations. For example:

  • Advanced Learning Program & Skill-Building Program (ALPS)
Our teens buddy up and make connections with community members of all abilities.
  • CYO Mercer County
Our teens work with the students in the after-school program planning and executing impactful service-learning projects.
  • Local Food Pantries
Our teens prepare sandwiches for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, CYO Bromley Center, and Trinity Church food pantries.
  • Steinert High School
Our teens partner with the Autism Spectrum Disorder class to build school community.
  • BrandonStrong
A foundation started by Brandon Gonzalez, a former Teen on Fire, before he lost his brave battle to cancer. Our teens keep his memory alive by supporting his mission to help lessen the financial burden of medical treatment for those with cancer.
