All of Embright Education’s programs focus on these key areas, utilizing a trauma-informed lens:
- Social-Emotional Learning
- Conflict Resolution and Assertive Communication
- Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation
- Assertive Decision-Making and Resilience Building
In-School Programs
Embright Education delivers a spiraling curriculum built on evidence-backed programs aligned with the NJ Department of Education’s social-emotional competencies. Our K-8 lessons utilize differentiated instructional activities to meet diverse learning needs and are delivered through engaging, multi-sensory formats including verbal instruction, visual aids, movement-based activities, and hands-on learning. Through the concept of “What’s Your Shine?”, students explore their hobbies, interests, and passions, helping them build a positive identity and self-esteem. By recognizing what brings them joy, students are able to discover ways to build positive connections with others. The programs also emphasize positive self-talk and mindful practices, as well as healthy coping skills which empower students to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Embright students gain essential life skills, leadership abilities, and the confidence to navigate an ever-changing world.

Service Learning and Leadership
Our Teens program (Grades 9-12) invites high-schoolers to participate in a variety of service-learning projects involving their peers, students of all ages, our community’s senior members, and other local non-profit organizations. Teen members enjoy making new connections while they develop leadership skills in a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment.
Community Engagement
Through community events we seek to support families and schools in order to foster a holistic approach to developing the whole child. Embright Education believes in addressing the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs in all of the settings where students live, encouraging a shared language for continued social-emotional growth.
