I have been working with Embright Education since 2024 as the Teens leader and middle school instructor. My goal is to pursue a career in Mental Health Counseling for middle and high school students.

Being a part of this organization has impacted me in numerous ways, specifically allowing me to master the skills of empathy, leadership, and communication. With our teens program, we have volunteered with food pantries, assisted those with mental/physical disabilities, and helped with other nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to be a club in all local high schools to better prepare our youth to interact with people of varying backgrounds, with all different stories.

Through Embright Education, I have learned the importance of educating our youth in social emotional learning. It is truly a pleasure when I can see how they are engaging in what I have to say by joining in on conversations as well as participating in the activities we do. Through our programming, we can prepare our youth on how to handle difficulties they may encounter in their futures.
